And after years of being a food blogger and fitness enthusiast I can confidently say that my number one FAQ is, “How do you eat the way you do and stay in shape?”

Here’s the thing. I haven’t always had a great relationship with food. From crash diets and crazy cleanses, I tried everything to get in shape and it left me with a lot of uncertainty and confusion when it came to food. It wasn’t until I found CrossFit that my fitness journey changed – I realized fitness could be fun and I didn’t need to spend hours in the gym for little reward. At this same time, I learned that the food I love could actually be used as a tool to help me reach my goals, and that’s when everything changed.

I created CakeToo to help you regularly enjoy the foods you love, skip the crazy diets (and avoid the cross-training price tag) all while learning about the food you eat and how it impacts your body, mind, and performance in the gym. I reached my fitness goals and got into the best shape of my life by prioritizing a healthy relationship with food and creating a fitness routine that left me actually wanting to work out every day. Why don’t diets work?
Because they don’t make sense and they don’t last.

That’s why CakeToo isn’t a diet program. We teach you about what’s in your food, what your body needs, and how to use that information to keep yourself in control of your goals, not the food. Sometimes you need salad—and sometimes you need cake! That’s perfectly fine. You’ll learn how to break down what’s in your food, track what you eat throughout the day, and make empowered decisions when creating your meals. Why? Because we truly believe that a sustainable lifestyle change is the key to reaching (and maintaining) your goals.

MOVEMENT

We may love food around here, but we also believe that movement is a vital part of your happy and healthy lifestyle.

Not only will we find food freedom through nutrition education, we’ll make fitness fun with high-intensity, strength and conditioning workouts. Whether you work out at home or in the gym, our workouts pack a major punch – without spending hours on the treadmill. We’re talking simple, low-equipment, 20-30 minute workouts that you can do anywhere. From stay-at-home-moms to corporate ladder climbers, we make it easy to fit these workouts into any schedule.

Is CakeToo a diet program? 

Nope, CakeToo is NOT a diet program! Diet programs = restrictions, and we’re not about that. 

If CakeToo isn’t a diet program… what is it?! 

CakeToo teaches you the basics of nutrition and exercise so you can feel JOY in movement and eating!

What if I just want the exercise routines or just need the nutrition info? 

Whether you’re looking for more fun, effective workouts or just want to understand nutrition better, CakeToo delivers and gives you your money’s worth on both fronts. For me, I knew we had to offer both. The CakeToo style of workouts and learning about food are not only my passions, they also make me feel best when I’m actively doing both, and I want to share that with others. If you have a different exercise routine, or a different meal plan that’s worked well for you, great! Do whatever makes you feel best, and if that means focusing on just exercise or nutrition here at CakeToo, then that’s what you should do. 

How/where can I manage my membership?

You can manage your membership in the account page on the member website.

How can I sign up for your free trial?

The free trial is auto applied at checkout!

Is there a cancellation fee?

There is no cancellation fee. You can cancel any time via the member website.

Can I easily change from monthly to yearly membership?

Yes. You can switch any time via the member website.

How do I know what my recommended calories and starting macros are?

This information can be found using the macro calculator in your membership portal after you enroll.

Do I just intermittently fast/eat one meal a day?

While intermittent fasting/OMAD can be done following the CakeToo nutrition program, it’s not a program focus or requirement for success.

Is this program for me if I am vegan, gluten-free, or have food allergies?

Yes. CakeToo is for everyone regardless of food preferences and/or restrictions.

Do you have to be in shape already to be successful in CakeToo?

Nope. Anyone can be successful in CakeToo by tailoring the program to your body, fitness level, and goals.

Is CakeToo for me if I have a history of disordered eating?

If you have or had a rocky relationship with food, it is important that you seek guidance from a licensed nutritionist or mental health professional before deciding to dive in to CakeToo. 

What modification is there for ____ movement? Where can I request another?

General modifications for all workouts can be found on the daily workouts page within each workout. Additional modifications can be requested in our community Facebook group.

Do you do lower body workouts?

Our workouts target every part of the body and all muscle groups. We also incorporate rest and recovery for each as well.
